About Our Group Living Program

Welcome to SurexCARE, where we have been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities since 1980. Our journey began as a heartfelt collaboration between Surrey Place Centre, Extendicare LTD, and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) to help long-term residents of Huronia Regional Centre find new homes in the community. What started as a pilot project has blossomed into a thriving charitable organization, offering a network of community homes and support programs tailored to meet the unique needs of adults with developmental disabilities. Our rebranding as SurexCARE reflects our ongoing commitment to providing compassionate, empowering care. Join us as we continue to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
