We are privileged to offer exceptional support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Since 1980, we have passionately dedicated ourselves to ensuring that everyone has a home and a cherished place in our community. Our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment is unwavering, and we take pride in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Our Homes

Our eleven (11) homes are located in East Toronto and Scarborough. Supported 24-7 by qualified staff who ensure a safe, comfortable, clean, and homey atmosphere, our clients find their family. We encourage independent living, teaching and practicing life skills. Clients help make meals, do household chores, assist with grocery shopping, and participate in local activities. We focus on community integration, organizing regular outings, cultural events, and group activities to enhance socialization and quality of life. Our homes are vibrant communities where everyone is valued, respected, and given the chance to thrive.

Community Supports Program (CSP)

To ensure full participation, we offer activities and skill-development programs that promote independence. We teach numeracy, reading, writing, cooking, and so much more. Integral to our CSP are outings and interactions with community members and friends. Participants often engage in social, cultural, and recreational events, fostering a sense of belonging. This program is open to individuals living in our homes, other Developmental Service agencies, and individuals living with their families. Our CSP creates a supportive network where participants can enhance their skills, build meaningful relationships, and participate fully and meaningfully in community life.

Person-Centred-Planning

All of our services are individualized to meet the specific interests and needs of the people we support. These unique supports and services are articulated through a plan developed in conjunction with our clients, their families, and our staff. The person-centred plan includes aspirations, goals, and skill development, emphasizing that the client is first and foremost in all we do. Regular reviews and updates ensure that each plan remains dynamic and adaptable to the evolving desires and needs of our clients. This collaborative approach empowers clients to actively participate in shaping their futures, focusing on personal fulfillment, community involvement, and overall quality of life.
